Observation, understanding and precision
Our vineyard covers 9.5 hectares across nine terroirs and more than 63 individual plots, extending from the Marne Valley to the Vitryat.
This diversity is one of our greatest assets. Each plot has its own exposure, soil, microclimate and natural rhythm. We therefore adapt our work to its individual characteristics and to the conditions of each vintage.
Our measured approach to viticulture is based on careful observation of the vines and their environment. Every intervention is considered and carried out only when necessary, with the aim of preserving natural balances and encouraging the expression of each terroir.
Pruning, soil management, disbudding, lifting, trellising and harvesting: every gesture contributes to the quality and personality of the future wines.
CHAMPAGNE WINEMAKING
Precision in the service of the wine
At harvest time, each grape carries the story of its plot and the character of the growing year. Our role is to preserve this identity and guide it throughout the winemaking process.
Depending on the style of each cuvée, the wines are crafted in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks or vinified in oak.
When the terroir calls for it, certain plots or grape varieties are vinified separately to reveal their individual character.
Malolactic fermentation is not systematically encouraged. For certain cuvées, preventing it helps preserve greater tension, freshness and aromatic purity.
Blending, reserve wines, single-varietal expressions and individual plot selections allow us to create precise, expressive Champagnes that remain true to the distinctive style of our Maison.
CAREFULLY JUDGED DOSAGE
Preserving the wine’s balance
and natural expression
The dosage is individually selected for each cuvée. From Brut to Extra-Brut and Brut Nature, it complements the wine without ever masking its identity.
This pursuit of precision preserves the freshness, balance and individual character of every Champagne.
Time then continues its work. Ageing on the lees and resting after disgorgement bring complexity, harmony and maturity to the wines.
