On this World Environment Day, we would like to highlight our commitment to sustainable and nature-friendly viticulture.

At Champagne Yannick Prévoteau, we firmly believe that the future of our terroir depends on our ability to preserve and enrich the ecosystem that surrounds us.

Located in Damery, in the heart of the Champagne region, our family winery practices sustainable viticulture, certified High Environmental Value (HVE). This certification demonstrates our respect for natural resources, biodiversity, and soil quality.

Preserving biodiversity, a priority for our home

Our vines thrive in an environment rich in local flora and fauna. Yannick, passionate about nature and always seeking new knowledge, has installed beehives in the orchard behind the winery. These bees, true sentinels of biodiversity, play an essential role in plant pollination and contribute to the balance of local ecosystems.

A field in bloom

Yannick strives to create a veritable green setting around the house and vineyards. He enjoys planting spaces with honey-producing plants and local flowers, creating a haven for numerous pollinating insects and contributing to the preservation of biodiversity.

Respectful viticultural practices for ever more sustainable viticulture

We limit the use of plant protection products and favor biological control techniques to protect our vines from disease. This preventative approach, which respects natural cycles, helps maintain vibrant and fertile soils, essential to the quality of our grapes.

On this World Environment Day, we reaffirm our commitment to producing exceptional champagnes while preserving our terroir for future generations.

Thank you to all those who share our values and support us in this journey towards a greener and more sustainable future. 🌍🥂
